The Coleadero

Saturday October 10 my dad had a rodeo, and aside from it being 45 degress it went well.
The Coleadero involves a charro wraping his leg around the bulls tail in order to pull the bull down. The best charro is able to bring the bull down the fastest and hardest.
This sport is thought to have started in my dad's Mexican home state Zacatecas. These charros drove from San Angelo, Midland, Dallas and California. These men have a great passion for this sport and practice every day no matter the weather!

Here is my dad riding with a cousin

My sisters and I are in charge of rewarding the men who succeed

It's raining Charros!!

My favorite Coleador and notice he's only using one hand. That's hott LOL
