New Years

I spent the 2010 New Years with two of my favorite people, Lupita and Leticia and yes we even went to mass! The priest at the mass spoke of 3 things we could work on for the new year they included:
1) Get closer to God
2) Have peace in our hearts and with each other
3) Be more like Mary
(and BTW my cousin Lupita helped me remember the list )
I really liked the list and everything I had thought about changing for this new year falls under one of the 3. My favorite was the second one, and yet it's a tough one. There are a couple of people in my life that I have a difficult time getting along with, I'm going to try my hardest to find peace with these people. And then I'll also be finding more peace in my heart..

Of course afterwards we had to celebrate the New Year with a couple of drinks. To our surprise my cousin Lupita is good at making a specific drink that we named, Splish Splash (it's the drink in the picture).
I had a great time with Lupita and Leti and then I spent a couple more awesome days with my prima Lupita. I love my prima.
