Shoes and Shoes

Maria forgot to leave us Sunny's tennis shoes, so I took her to wal-mart to get some shoes. My niece is only 21 months old, and I was expecting a quick trip to wal-mart but I definatly under estimated her and the power of shoes, guess it starts at an early age. I tried to make it quick and just grab some shoes, but she told me "no shoes". I asked her do you like these and she said no and threw them out of the cart. I found some other ones and she put them in the cart, well that was my chance to leave wal-mart but the kid then yells, "more shoes". OMG. Then she saw some Gaba Gaba Shoes and had to have them, although there were double her size and there were obvious boy shoes. I figured that putting them on her, would make her realize 1) that there were too big 2) they were actually pretty ugly but instead made her love the shoes even more. She didn't want to take them off and by that time Sunny had already placed 4 pairs of other shoes in the cart and still wanted more.
I would have gladly bought the shoes, however it then occured to me that Sunny probably owns these shoes ( my sisters being huge wal-mart shoppers), so I distraced her and with my quick moves I put the other shoes back, grabbed some purple boots, got a book to continue with the distraction, and then we were out!
WOW, I was so tired after that, I don't know how my sisters get any shoping done with this kid.
