De Colores!

June 11-June 14th 2009, I lived a cursillo in Tyler, TX with 50 other amazing women and we had a blast. Our cursillo began Thursday evening and ended Sunday evening, so it was a full 3 days, but it goes by so fast!!

I can't explain all the emotions that I felt. Most of all I just felt so close to God and at peace. Throughout the weekend I was more and more blessed. I lived the cursillo with beautiful, courageous women. Among them was Lucero, whom I met 2 years ago. Her son, was my first client as a graduate student. At first I didn't recognize her, but she remembered me by name!! I realized how I touch lives, and seeing her throughout the cursillo was a reminder to me of how blessed I am to have studied what I love.

It's so easy to fall into the schedule of life and forget to always put God first. I know I'm so guilty of it. I want to continue feeling that peace I felt. I want to continue to feel close to God.
