About 10 days ago, my phone broke. Now that phone that broke was about 3 years old. My mom gave it to me a year ago, and before she had it my sister in law had it. I didn't mind, it worked just fine. After awhile the face broke, but I still didn't mind. My phone worked and that's all that mattered to me. But like I've already said, the phone broke and there was no way to fix it. I went about 3 days without a phone, but one morning my dad and I went to Verizon to look at phones (he also needed a new phone).
Well I told my father that I would take his old phone, as long as it worked it was fine with me. My dad refused, he wanted to buy me a new phone. He insited that I get the phone I wanted. Long story short he convinced me to get a Blackberry Tour. :)
As it comes out, because I hadn't had a new phone in years, Alltell/Verizon gave me a $50.00 reward, and on top of that my $100.00 rebate was instant, plus I got the discount for renewing my contract WHOA, I never new you could get so much just for getting a new phone. Well comes out my New Blackberry Tour cost me a forth of the marked price.
My dad was pretty happy!
