Roses are Red

Along with all the good things that have been going on in my life, an old friend and I got back in touch. Although he lives very far away from me, and I haven't seen him in 3 years, we talk very often and just like 9 years ago when I met him, he's still very nice.
Well a couple weeks ago, he sent me some red roses to my work, just becuase. I thought it was very sweet of him, and they were beautiful.
I tease him that he's going to have to outdo himself for my birthday!!
